Private Lessons

Will offers private lessons to students of all ages in his studio in Atlanta, GA. The studio is fully equipped with teaching tools, including a piano and drum set. Just minutes from downtown Decatur, Little 5 Points, and I-20, the studio is located in the heart of the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta. Parents can go enjoy the library or a coffee shop just one block away or a playground for siblings just two blocks away. If parents choose to wait with their child, there is a sitting area in the studio as well.   

Will has been a staff member of the Chicago Joe’s Rock N’ Blues Camp for 2 years and also teaches lessons at the Community Music Centers of Atlanta. He has been playing saxophone for 22 years. He holds a Master’s of Music degree with a focus in jazz studies from GA State and a B.A. in Music degree from Emory Univeristy with highest honors in jazz performance. 

Clinics

Will is available for clinics and guest performances at middle schools, high schools, colleges, and music stores.  Clinic topics include jazz improvisation, jazz theory, listening, and music business.  Grants for certain educational clinics may be available through Will’s affiliation with Jupiter Saxophones.  For booking information please contact will@willscruggs.com.  More information coming soon!
